Name: John Druitt
Canon: Sanctuary
Scrubs Color: Black
Visible Age: 30s-40s
Gender: Male
Height: 6'4"
Physique: Tall and well-built, but not overtly muscled
Complexion: Fairly average
Hygiene: Generally speaking, he keeps himself well-groomed, although he can be prone to physical violence, and may sometimes bear the marks of same.
Hair: None
Eyes: Blue-gray
Defining Marks: An old scar that runs down the right side of his face. Also, y'know, being bald.
Accent/Speech: To borrow a quote from canon: "kind of like [Helen's] only, uh, more evil." At it's most basic, his accent is the sort of one might expect from a British gentlemen. It's just that it's been dragged through the metaphorical mud, and his general baseline smugness adds a sort of twist to it that can easily come off as "evil"; when he wants to make a particular point, he leans on that same casual smugness (and resultant darker tone) all the harder.

His voice itself, meanwhile, is on the deeper side and defaults to a quieter tone than one might expect for someone who's basically a walking ball of anger. When he's in a good enough mood, his voice lightens up a little to the point of very nearly losing the darker edge that can make it sound more evil; when he's angry or making a point of being threatening it very nearly drops a pitch or two deeper.

Links to voice clips: being generally threatening (through to 5:05 or so); casual conversation, sliding into genuine anger (through to the end of the video); matching wits with an old friend (to 6:38)
Bearing/Demeanor: Basically, he looms. Part of this is due to the fact that he's legitimately ridiculously tall, but even apart from that he often goes out his way to establish a certain baseline of Loom. He also has a sort of unconscious confidence to him, the kind that's both absolutely unshakeable and also carries a slight undertone of danger to it. In fact, most of the time there's a faint undertone of danger to a lot of what he does; while he keeps it fairly well-leashed most of the time, it never quite manages to go away either. On the other hand, he does still have much of the bearing of a Victorian gentleman, although it's hidden under everything else. Taken as a whole, this generally means that he tends to come off as polite, if perhaps a little over smug, on first impressions.
Gait: Steady and unhurried
Habits: Apart from his tendency to Loom and otherwise generally stand out, Druitt's predominant habit is, in fact, a tendency to violence. I will always ask permission for anything past what might come of your average fist fight. In a less fighty vein, he generally keeps to himself; while he's not reclusive by any stretch of the imagination, he's used to needing to keep a certain distance from various agents of law, as well as generally fending for himself. But he's capable of being polite, and can, in fact, have perfectly civil conversations!

(On the other hand, sometimes he really, really can't.)
Skills: A decent background in the sciences (primarily chemistry, biology and anatomy), a familiarity with the ways people can be injured or killed, and various things related to staying just out of sight of the police. He's also multi-lingual, speaking French, German, Latin and Greek, with the latter two being severely rusty at best.

Opt-out/Notes: While Druitt doesn't speak much about it, his past as Jack the Ripper means he comes with blanket warnings for murder and violence (historically against women). His non-Ripper history carries those same warnings (albeit with less of a preference to targets) and additionally comes with a warning for attempted suicide, once by overdose. If you would rather not deal with any part of that, or would rather I not tag you with Druitt at all, just drop a me screened comment here.
